According to the invention, the nap roller is composed of a cylindrical central element (11) rotating about an axis (5) and of a tubular element (6), to the surface of which is fastened card clothing, for example a fabric (7) which supports metal teeth (3) and which is wound around the tubular element (6) and adhesively bonded to this. Selon l'invention, le cylindre gratteur est composé d'un élément central (11) cylindrique tournant autour d'un axe (5) et d'un élément tubulaire (6) sur la surface duquel est fixée la garniture de carde, par exemple un tissu (7) supportant des dents métalliques (3) enroulé autour de l'élément tubulaire (6) et collé sur celui-ci. L'élément tubulaire (6) est emmanché sur l'élément central (11) et bloqué sur celui-ci par des moyens de blocage, par exemple un anneau de blocage (14,15).
