Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH02125200A] PURPOSE: To improve the flushing operatability in a flushing block for a compressed gas container by forming an exhaust gas outlet connected with an extraction borehole, on the flushing block and opening and closing a shut-off valve at the outlet. CONSTITUTION: To replace a compressed gas container including the dangerous contents by using a flushing block 10, a connecting portion 11 is connected with a valve 14 of the container, the valves 14, 19 are closed, an inert gas is flown from a flushing gas inlet 21 to be sent to an outlet 17 of the valve 14 through a borehole 24 and a pipe 23 in an opening state of the shut-off valves 22, 26, and the process gas is mixed with the flushing gas to be exhausted from the outlet 27 through a borehole 25. Then the shut-off valve 22 is closed to stop the supply of the flushing gas, and a new filling container is replaced. In an operating state, the shut-off valves 22, 26 are closed, and the process gas is flown to a process gas outlet 20 through a borehole 16 and a shut-off valve 19 extracted by the valve 14. Whereby the dangerous process gas can be purged from the dead space of the valve or the like.
