Gengar (Japanese: ゲンガー Gangar) is a Psychic-type Stage 2 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Lost Origin expansion.
Card text
Once during your turn, if this Pokémon is in your discard pile, you may put it onto your Bench. If you do, put 3 damage counters on this Pokémon.

Release information
This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art Secret card in the Lost Origin expansion, first released in the Japanese Dark Phantasma subset. The Regular print features artwork by Narumi Sato, while the Full Art print features artwork by Akira Komayama. A SWSH Black Star Promotional print of this card was one of the Prerelease promos for Lost Origin with new artwork by Uta, available in the Lost Origin Build & Battle Box. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was later retroactively distributed to Pokémon Leagues in early 2023. The SWSH Promotional print was subsequently released in the Japanese VSTAR Universe subset. A Mirage Holofoil version of the Regualr Lost Origin print, featuring a Pikachu jack-o'-lantern stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork, was available in Trick or Trade 2023 BOOster Bundles from September 1, 2023.

Origin
This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Sword. The Miss Fortunes are featured in the Lost Origin Full Art print's illustration. Charm uses a Gengar in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
