Frostapalooza in photos and videos

After over a year of planning, Frostapalooza finally took place on Saturday night at Mr. Smalls Theatre in Pittsburgh.

It’s going to take me a really long time to process what transpired and to find the words to properly describe it. It was epic. It was pure energy. It was a celebration of life, love, friendship, fun, creativity, music, and positivity. Everyone seemed to understand that it was something that can only really happen once, and I’m so thankful I got to share it with my family, friends from every chapter of my life, and music lovers from all over. It was hands-down one of the best experiences of my life, and I’m just so incredibly grateful for everyone who helped bring it all to life.

While I’m struggling to find the words, I at least wanted to share some of the fantastic photos & videos that emerged from the show. We have a giant shared Google Photos album and audience and musicians alike have been throwing their photos/videos to the pile.

I’d like to give a special thanks to Will Browar who drove from Rochester, New York to photograph the whole fandango. He even wrote a fantastic blog post about the experience, where he digs into the nitty gritty.

I’d also like to thank everyone who’s shared photos and videos so far, with a special shout out to my neighbor Anne-Laure Gate who shot some extremely professional footage!

There’s a whole lot more to come, but here’s a sampling of some of the great Frostapalooza photos and videos that have emerged so far:

There are more photos and videos coming in, but I’ll stop here for now. The night was captured professionally by 8 mounted video cameras, 3 GoPro cameras (including one strapped to my bass headstock!), and a complete soundboard recording. As you might expect, I’m SUPER EXCITED to get that footage; my wheels are already turning.

If you want to see more, you can view the shared Google Photos album to see all of the phenomenal photos/videos, and you can follow me on Instagram, YouTube, Threads, and Mastodon where I’ll be posting more about the show.

Again, I still am a sort of euphoric shock and am not yet in a place to put words together about what transpired this weekend. But though I’m still struggling to put all the words together, I can at least say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all of the musicians and people that made this dream come true. I will forever be indebted to you. ❤️❤️❤️
