James S. Parker
James S. Parker was a judge in DeSoto County of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. He was appointed by Governor Bob Graham in June of 1985 to replace Vincent T. Hall. He ran unopposed and was retained in the August 24, 2010 primary to a six-year term that was originally scheduled to end on January 2, 2017.[1][2] He retired in 2015.[3]
Education
Parker received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Florida in 1966 and 1968, respectively.[1][4]
Career
Parker was a judge of the DeSoto County Court prior to his appointment to the circuit court in 1985.[2]
