Herbert Kramer
Herbert Kramer is a former justice of the Kings County Supreme Court, Civil Term in the 2nd Judicial District of New York. He was elected to this position in 1991, after having served as an acting supreme court justice from 1984 to 1990. He was certificated in 2007, and his last term expired in 2012.[1][2]
Education
Kramer received his B.A. from the City University of New York at Brooklyn College in 1959 and his J.D. from the New York University Law School in 1964.[1]
Career
Kramer began his judicial career in 1980 when he was elected to the Civil Court of the 2nd Judicial District. He worked in this capacity through 1983, after which, he was appointed an acting supreme court justice. In 1991, he was elected to a full term on the Supreme Court.[1]
