Gordon C. Abel is a senior judge of the Fourth District of Iowa. He was first appointed to this court in 1979 as an associate judge. He was promoted to the position of district judge in 1996 and assumed senior status on January 1, 2009.[1]
Education
Abel received his bachelor's degree from Iowa State University and his law degree from the University of Iowa.[1]
