Albert Lorenzo
Albert Lorenzo is an acting justice for the Westchester County Supreme Court in the 9th Judicial District of New York. He is also a judge of the New York Court of Claims, a position to which he was appointed in 2002. He was reappointed in 2009 and his current term expires in 2018. He previously served as an acting justice of the Bronx County Supreme Court, beginning in 2002.[1][2]
Education
Lorenzo received his J.D. degree from St. John's School of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, Lorenzo worked in the New York County District Attorney's Office, was Assistant Dean at St. John's University School of Law and served on the Organized Task Force of the New York Attorney General's Office (1998-1999). He was appointed judge of the Court of Claims and Acting Justice of the Supreme Court in 2002.[1]
