Update. Uninstalled. Rebooted. Reinstalled and it seems to pick up the existing subscription again. Would seem to be an issue with retained files that are only deleted on a reboot. Poor coding and customer experience. Having real issues with renewed Google play subscription which this version of the app is not recognising. No response from the help email address,

Great app most of the time. Currently had an issue where when I scroll on some articles, the page goes blank until I scroll down the page again, where it re-appears, scrolling up makes the page go blank again. Happens on the "can I fix it? Yes you can" article using dark mode.

I only have this app because I like crosswords & the Guardian crossword app has been decommissioned. The crossword part of the app is clunky & poorly designed. If the skip a letter feature still exists, I am unable to find it. If it does, where is it? If it doesn't, why not? Once you have entered the letters it doesn't automatically take you to the next clue. Now I pay 3x as much for something that is not even half as good. 1st world problem, yes. But for the price, it needs resolving.
