About the Business
Summer is hot, grab a cold pint of luscious beer on one of Hopvine Pub's 2 patios. Sit out front to people-watch on 15th or hang out in the alley hideaway. With 12 taps showcasing the best Pacific NW beer, it's easy to pick a winner. The Hopvine's food menu gets as much attention to detail as the tap list - don't miss out on the fan favorite pizza & sandwiches. Fresh house made soups and specials off the BBQ will draw you back again and again.

If a Reuben costs $17, it better change my life. It better grab me by the collar of my shirt and slap me around. It better make me consider opening my own delicatessen so that, one day, if I work tirelessly, I might produce something that merely apes its godly existence. Alas, the Hopvine's Reuben is just pretty good, much like the rest of this cozy watering hole's standard, if a bit pricey, bar food fare. In addition to the Reuben, my mistress and I tried the pizza and the pizza knots--both existed on the upper end of the serviceable spectrum.
But I assume many Hopvine patrons aren't visiting this establishment for the food. Rather, they'd like to drink and catch up with an old friend. In this realm, the Hopvine earns top marks. It's approachable, not too loud or rowdy, and provides a pleasant respite during a chilly, wet Seattle evening. I'll be returning again for the cozy vibes and to quench my thirst. Dinner, though, will likely come first.

Great low key pub. Great live music, definitely a great place to grab a couple of brews.

The garlic knots were quite good. The chips and salsa were fine. We liked the selection of beers and had two blondes and an amber. They had a hockey game on which was interesting. Just a chill neighborhood bar feel. The bartender was polite and greeted us when we came in, but only IDed me, not my husband, which we found a little odd. Overall it was a nice spot to stop for a pint and their bathrooms were quirkily decorated.

Went for lunch today. The food was good as usual. I live in the neighborhood and have always enjoyed. HOWEVER, we were told to come to the bar to order food and beer--okay. The food took 45 minutes. By the way, we were the first customers. Two sandwiches and a salad--45 minutes! So I already kicking myself for leaving a 20% tip--before the food comes--but then the bartender had the audacity to tell us we could bring our plates and glasses to the end of the bar. WHAT? I tip you 20% and I have to go to the bar to order then bus my table? Won't go back again

A cute little neighborhood pub tucked in between Cap Hill and Central District -- they have something for everyone ranging from puzzles to trivia night and more! I've stopped by on a couple of occasions to grab a beer with friends and they have a solid rotation of drinks on tap as well as helpful bartenders. It's a cozy spot with plenty of seating, and I recommend checking it out for a laid-back evening!

This is my neighborhood pub, so I feel good about saying that it's a great place to have a beer. The tap list changes all the time, so it's a true cornucopia of beers. They have gluten-free options too, which is cool since my son can't handle the stuff.
I bring my wife here too. Everyone feels comfortable and can find something to eat or drink.
I enjoy all of the staff too. Super nice people who play cool music. The vibe is good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 3, 2018
It's a cool place with a laid back PNW vibe. Had a Pfreim Blond IPA and some nachos. The nachos were OK, something you could make at home, the IPA was great. It's a great place for a beer.

Life-changingly delicious Roasted Garlic Soup w/ melted swiss cooked to soft perfection (and crusty around the edges of the bowl). The croutons soak up the juices and redefined my life on 15th Avenue. Thank you, Cole, for introducing me to the love of my life.
A+ beer selection and service. I laugh til I cry every time I'm here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
