It's a charming German bar with a delicious brunch.. The staff could not be nicer. Seriously, the bartender/server is a pretty fairy. We've been in the evening for beers and pretzels, and loved it!

Great German beer bar in the Roosevelt. City, welcoming vibe and great beers. The bartenders are great despite multitasking. Love the atmosphere and bonus that they are decorated for Halloween! The food is mediocre and a bit pricey ($17 for a big pretzel!), but come for the beer!

The German bier selection is really great. There are some good cocktails available if you don't love liter mugs of lager. Schnitzel sandwich and large pretzel are a few favorites.

Such kind and friendly staff! Came here because we were craving a pretzel and the giant one was super filling and the beer cheese paired wonderfully with it.

We came in on a lazy, rainy weekend morning and had the best brunch. Corned beef hash and scrambled eggs with rye toast and jam. Definitely a winner! The bloody Mary was so delicious. What a great way to start our day! The ambiance is relaxing with music and great people.

This is a darling little local gem! They served delicious beer, German style, of course! And delicious sausages, German style, of course, but they also serve delicious salads and cabbage and sides and sauerkraut are so fabulous and homemade and awesome! Their service staff are all smiles 100% of the time. And it's just a casual cozy environment to enjoy time with friends, or to watch a soccer match. I consider myself to be a fairly sophisticated foody and I try to offer fair reviews based on the type of venue. I love everything from Michelin rated restaurants to mom and pop hole-in-the-walls, all I require is that the food is full of flavor, high quality ingredients and thoughtfulness in preparation, ambiance and service.

Really not as nice was it was a few years ago. Slow service but the food was great. Lots of German items hanging on the walls.

Die BierStube has an old world feel, very charming. They have bar, table and communal seating.

The draft beer selection is solid, food is very good, and service was excellent.

It's now a favorite.

Excellent German draft beer and staff. Great selection of draft beer. Fries are flavorful.

Summer beer is here! Watched the last Kraken game, met some new people. Lovely back patio on a hot day. Really enjoyed the special that I ordered. Always a great time with fun bartenders and good food. Also one of the best priced bats with one of the biggest cold beer selections !
