Payal’s 5-star review: Mama's my all time favourite brunch spot in SF! Visited many times, bringing friends/relatives visiting the city, to show off the BEST in SF with due pride. Location: Sitting quietly in the corner between touristy Coit Tower and Washington Park this tiny spot is easy to miss. A beautiful sunny day makes the experience doubly enjoyable as one can leisurely absorb the charm of this place, looking over the low curtained glass windows to view the lively scene of the Washington park while sipping mimosa or hot coffee! MAMA u are the savior to my grumbling tummy every time i climb up the steep hill to Coit tower, Lucky to have you here! Note : - Be ready to wait for at least an hour in line. Once inside, stand in the line to order and pay at the counter first, then wait to be seated as table gets free. - They take debit card or cash. NO CREDIT CARD accepted! MUST ORDER: Drinks Orange juice - Very fresh Picnic punch - Red wine with fresh fruits served in an adorable mason jar Main - Salmon Benedict aka Norwegian benedict - Very bery tasty! Monte Cristo - Pure bliss in the mouth! What a combination with the marmalade - a MUST TRY!! Sides - Chocolate cinnamon toast - delicious, served with fresh berries and banana goodness Also try their delectable freshly baked "chocolate crumb cake" with hot chocolate drizzled on the top. To AVOID from the menu - Lox Bagel Platter : Very disappointing and not worth the price Paisano Benedict - spiciness of hot sauce in bell pepper with the benedict was a complete spoiler, the flavors just doesn't get along!! Next time I plan to try the French Toast sampler and Dungeness crab eggs Benedict. Simply put, Mama's a " MUST VISIT" in SF. Its charming, great service and above all THE TOP BRUNCH place in the city!

Payal’s 5-star review: Always on a hunt for good brunch place in Sunset and surprisingly havent been to the one closest to home! Went at 1 noon and the place was busy. Had to wait for 10 min but got our table pretty soon without reservation or long waiting. We ordered : 1. Butternut squash soup - DELISH! creamy and the fritter in the soup gave an added crunch. Had to cleaned the bowl slurrrpp 2. Salmon benedict - The best till date!!! Big pieces of salmon, the hollandaise sauce was delish, perfectly done poached eggs and the best english muffin ever- it was soft and buttery ; not hard that pokes in your mouth like served in some places!! I was wayyyy too happy with my order. 3. Marisco omlette - had shrimps and calamari. It was delicious and very filling, served with big slices of avocados on top! But unfortunately my hubby is just not very fond of calamari in his omlette except fried calamaris with his beer. Nevertheless we cleaned our plates spotless. Price was $40 for two. Little expensive , but once in a while does justice! PROs: Decor with modern sleek ambiance. Great food Fast service NO long waiting unlike other SF brunch places. Brunch served till late Bottomless mimosas for brunch for just $10!! Great happy hour food and drinks!! Now its definitely marked for come back anytime of day - brunch, happy hour and dinner!!

Payal’s 4-star review: Magic Flute looks so charming! We chose to be seated in the back patio as it was a beautiful sunny day. The fountain, heated lamps and twinkling lights definitely makes it a great romantic weekend treat! The brunch menu has a lot of options. We chose the eggs benedict with ham($13), presidio scramble($12) and orange juice($3.50). The food was yummy, especially the scramble. The dishes came with potatoes and fruit on the side. Service excellent. The bill was $31 for two. The best part here is you get to enjoy a peaceful brunch avoiding the crazy waiting lines like in many other places on weekends. Were pretty surprised to find such the Laurel Heights neighborhood so quiet on a Sunday, lined with cute boutique shops mostly closed. Parking was not bad either as we found one soon. Happy tummy, we headed to the Baker's beach for beach time fun time!

Payal’s 5-star review: Went for brunch on a beautiful Saturday noon. There were a lot of people in the waiting. But fast new reservation system! Feed your details and party size in the iPad at the entry and track your waiting. We were seated in 20 min. Try to get a seat in the back patio. Its cozy and super cute!! The good weather made the experience even more delightful. We ordered: 1. Eggs Florentine - served with home-fries. was average. 2. St. Trop: with wild smoked salmon, capers, and red onions. Its creamy and full of salmon flavor. The BEST and highly recommend!! 3. Gingerbread pancake- was served with slices of pears. The lemon sauce on top was freakin' delicious!! Service was good and overall a great place for brunch.

Payal’s 5-star review: Went for brunch on a Sunday. Reached there at 2 pm and had to wait for 20 mins for our party of 4. Tip: Best to come for late lunch (around 2.30 - 3 pm) to avoid the long waiting. Favorites: Get their watermelon ice tea, very refreshing and light. 1. Crawfish Beignets - We ordered the beignet flight ($9.50) which had a sample of each - crawfish, chocolate filled, apple filled and plain beignet. Personally not a huge fan of the sweet beignets. Crawfish is handsdown the best, with dusted cayenne pepper on top!! 2. Shrimp and grits ($12) - with a layer of cheddar cheese on top, delish!!!! Perfectly seasoned creamy delishiouness with a little tangy-sweet sauce on top. 3. Catfish Benedict ($13) with hash/grits on the side - Huge portions, great taste and the biscuit was soo crunchy. Price: Food is priced reasonable. Total comes to $15 - $20 per person. As good as it gets!! Ambiance: clean and modern. Parking: Street parking, but easy to get one around.

Payal’s 5-star review: Oh Lovejoy, just the mere mention of Parisian-standard tea is enough to make every girl excited. Its one of the best picks to celebrate a day with your lovely ladies such as bachelorette's, bridal shower or simply when you wanna dress up n feel fancy. Came here with 5 of my friends for a bachelorette kickoff with high tea. Made reservation at least 3 weeks in advance as this place is super busy on weekends. Play dress up for the fun of it. Make sure your girls pick their choice of hats from the hat stand and do a role play from Downtown Abbey. Decor - You are sure to be transformed to the British la la land. The decor is sure to melt your heart like candy floss. So charming with lace, hats, florals and everything antique chic. Food - We ordered the High tea and the Queen's tea. Served in absolutely adorable tea sets! Tea comprises of sandwiches, scones,fresh fruits, biscuit, fresh fruits and bottomless tea. - The warm scones served with raspberry & lemon curd jams were buttery deliciousness. - They have a variety of flavorful teas such as Rose, Summer berries, Violet, White Peach,etc. We went with the choice of rose tea which was highly fragrant and refreshing. - For the sandwiches, our favorites were - salmon cream cheese and chicken asparagus.. All sandwiches were super delicious. Service - Excellent. Everything came on time.They always made sure our tea pots are filled. Price - We paid $25 each, for a group of 5. Not bad. This place was just perfect and a 5 star. Everyone had a great time.
