Bugzilla - W3C Bug / Issue tracking system

About W3C's Bugzilla

This is one of W3C's bug, project and issues tracking systems, using the open-source bugzilla platform.

Using this system

Warning

W3C does not track bugs or issues about World Wide Web software other than developed and maintained by W3C itself. Please do not report bugs not directly related to W3C software products, projects, or activities.

W3C Bugzilla - Public instance

The public instance of W3C's bugzilla was used from Dec 2008 to March 2019 to track bugs in W3C open-source software (such as the Markup Validator), and issues managed by W3C groups working in public.

This system has been shut down as of April 1 2019. The contents of the bug tracker have been archived and will be served in place at the existing URLs. See more details about the archive.

Most current issue tracking at W3C happens within the @w3c org on github.

Other Bugzilla instances at W3C

In the past, W3C also maintained non-public instances of Bugzilla for the use of groups not operating in public, including a member-only instance and a team-only instance.

These were retired in April 2014, since they were no longer actively used. The links above now point to archival snapshots.
