It is looking more and more likely that Fall Semesters will be cancelled as COVID cases climb. If students aren't on campus, they won't play. I am hopeful that by the Spring Semester there will be better treatments, easier testing and more herd immunity.

I am also bitter we did not crown a a champion in the 2019-2020 season. So, here is my idea:

The NCAA releases their bracket from 2019-2020. All teams selected go to a location similar to the Orlando complex for the NBA. We complete the 2019-2020 tournament with 2020-2021 roster. These games would also count towards rankings and seedings for 2020-2021 tournament. The 290 teams that didn't make it can play their own tourneys if they wish.

Upon completion, we jump right into conference play, followed by conference tournaments, which will dictate seeding for 2020-2021 season.

This would accomplish many things.

1) No pressure to play in the Fall

2) Crown a champion for 2019-2020

3) Put structure around 2020-2021

Under this scenario, we could win 2 championships in a 4 month period!
