I once make a mix CD for a friend who burnt his hand while trying to do a stupid trick with fire. We had to take him to hospital.
The mix CD also had that Ramones song, The New Pornographers' "End of the Medicine", and Bruce Springsteen's "I'm on Fire".

I still buy CDs. Partly because it's something to get autographed. Sadly some of the artists I love are no longer with us. I got most of my Husker Du stuffed signed by Grant Hart before he died. I had a really memorable night when Low last toured Australia and they signed about 30 year's off stuff.

I don't really spend much time pouring over the covers anymore. When I was a kid, I'd spend so much time reading the notes and lyrics on cassettes but don't anymore.
