This page contains a list of all the discrepancies between the statistics of each team's player derived from our event files (both box score and play-by-play) and Pete Palmer's statistics.

For each discrepancy, the following information is included:
ID - The ID used to identify the discrepancy Game - If the discrepancy is tied to a specific game, the date and number of the game Player - The name of the player on the team Type - The type of discrepancy: 'O' - an offensive discrepancy: 'D' - an defensive discrepancy: 'P' - an pitching discrepancy: Pos - If this is a defensive discrepancy, the defensive position: 'P' - pitcher 'C' - catcher '1B' - first base '2B' - second base '3B' - third base 'SS' - shortstop 'OF' - outfield Cat - The statistical category. - Offensive categories: 'G' - games played 'AB' - at-bats 'R' - runs 'H' - hits '2B' - doubles '3B' - triples 'HR' - home runs 'RBI' - runs batted in 'SO' - strikeouts 'BB' - bases on balls 'SB' - stolen bases 'CS' - caught stealing 'SH' - sacrifice hits 'SF' - sacrifice flies 'HBP' - hit by pitch 'GDP' - grounded into double-plays - Defensive categories: 'G' - games played 'PO' - putouts 'A' - assists 'ERR' - errors 'DP' - double plays 'PB' - passed balls 'LFG' - left-field games 'CFG' - center-field games 'RFG' - right-field games - Pitching categories: 'G' - games pitched 'W' - wins 'L' - losses 'IP' - innings pitched 'GS' - games started 'CG' - complete games 'SO' - strikeouts 'BB' - bases on balls 'H' - hits allowed 'HR' - home runs allowed 'SHO' - shutouts 'SV' - saves 'HBP' - hit batsmen 'BK' - balks 'SH' - sacrifice hits allowed 'BFP' - batters faced pitcher 'R' - runs allowed 'ER' - earned runs allowed 'SF' - sacrifice flies allowed 'GF' - games finished 'WP' - wild pitches 'AB' - at-bats Retro - The value determined from our event files Off - The value according to Pete Palmer's statistics Code(s) - If applicable, we will use a code to classify possible common error types One or more of the following are permitted: SWAP - stats were (perhaps partially) swapped between players IMP - batter has an impossible batting line (H > AB, Ks > AB - H, and so on) COL - stat put in wrong column for player COPY - the number was apparently copied incorrectly from the player dailies DUP - two players were at the same position in a game and one position had no players ADD - apparent addition error on sheets OPP - a mismatch between one team's hitting and the other team's pitching statistics PAA - an unexplained anomaly in a team's plate appearances by lineup position 10.18 - run charged to an incorrect pitcher per 10.18(g) Note - If applicable, an explanatory note
