Starting December 19th, 2024, a new Home tab has been added to the desktop version of pixiv's homepage.
This update will be rolled out gradually, so it may take some time before it becomes available to everyone. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
The Home tab will be added to your homepage
This update will add a new Home tab to your homepage.
There will be no change to the existing Illustrations, Manga, and Novels tabs, which can be used as before.
About the Home tab
This tab displays recommended works based on your viewing history and works that are popular on pixiv. You may be shown illustrations, manga, and novels altogether.
・Latest works for you: Displays the latest works from users you follow, regardless of work type.
・Recommended works: Displays works recommended for you based on your browsing history, regardless of work type.
In the "Recommended works" section of the Home tab, works will be displayed in the same tile format as the existing Illustrations, Manga, and Novels tabs. Below the tile display, works will also appear in a new vertical list format.
Each work in the vertical list is displayed along with the author's name and title, allowing you to enjoy them in greater detail.
You can also add bookmarks or display and post comments directly from this vertical list.
On the right side of the vertical list, you'll also find information about recommended users and ongoing contests.
*If you view a work for a certain time in the vertical list, it will be counted as a view for that work.
*For information on view count, please check the page below.
*Age-restricted works will not be displayed in the Home tab.
Displaying multi-page posts and novels in the Home tab
For multi-page illustrations and manga displayed in the Home tab's vertical list, you can view up to three pages by using the slider. For pages 4 and beyond, click "Show all" to view them on the work page.
For novels, you can also view the cover page and read the first part by using the slider.
