called and hung up today. Called last week and wanted money for police officers' families who have died in the line of duty. Wanted money for vests.

When I answered a man said my name and said he was from the Police Officers Association of Georgia. I asked why was the call from Alabama if it was for Georgia Police Officers. He told me that was where they called from. I told him I did not believe him and hung up the phone. I am going to check with the Georgia Police Officers Assoc tomorrow and see what this is all about. I find it hard to believe Georgia would contract with anyone in Alabama to raise money for the Police Officers Assoc. Sounds fishy to me.

Keeps calling and requested to stop calling.

My home phone number and my cell phone number are on the do not list but these people still call me I just block these numbers if they keep calling me from POA I will file a legal complaint.

Has called twice and says nothing!! I say hello several times then they hang up!!!

Caller asked for my previous name (I am been divorced for 20 yrs). I politely asked "May I ask who is calling?" He hung up promptly. Please let me add that he interupted my dinner also.
