Caller is threatening to post explicit photos unless paid $1,000.

This telemarketer told my son he qualified for a gov't grant of $4795 and would receive it if he would go to WALMART and send them the cost of administration fees. Had checked with the Dept. of Treasury and they do not charge any fees for honest grants and do not notify you over the phone.

Guy claimed he was with Microsoft and that my computer had serious errors that he needed to walk me through to fix. I asked him his name because he had a very distinctive middle eastern accent and he told me his name was Robin Smith. I questioned this and it caught him off guard. I told him that I used a computer service and my computer was operating without any problems. He tried to convince me otherwise so I asked to speak with his supervisor. He paused and said he was a supervisor. I told him I wanted to speak with his supervisor, the individual he reported to and he hesitated and asked if he could put me on hold. I knew he was just going to hang up. I gave him a very difficult time by asking all kinds of questions to which I knew he would not be able to answer which was evident by his hesitancy and asking me to repeat the question. I don't play games with people like this and I know Microsoft does not contact you personally unless you have initiated a request for Microsoft to contact you. I gave this guy a rope and he proceeded to hang himself with it. He has not called again. I am reporting him to Microsoft, as well. Do not let this guy gain access to your computer. If he should call again I will tell him I am a Mac user. I would like to hear him talk his way out of that one. Beware of anyone claiming to be from Microsoft and that you computer has serious errors that they need to help you correct by gaining access to your computer.

Nothing new, just another idiot that tries to scam people...i wish something could be done to these people. If i ever ran into one on the street, i would beat them so bad that they would need a scam just to get into the hospital.. Lol... Where's the law even we really need them... They can put a stop to these call if they wanted to...ever phone number should be tagged
