I too am on the do-not-call list. This telemarketer called at 7:00 am which is allegedly illegal. According to what the laws regulating telemarketers, they are not supposed to call prior to 8:00 am. Why is this law not enforced?

"DO NOT CALL" lists are NOT electronic shields that physically prevent telemarketing calls. The lists are simply law-protected programs that legitimate businesses will honor in order to avoid criminal fines. Scam artists who hide their true identities or routinely move their base of operations do not fear being found, prosecuted, and fined, so they ignore the DO NOT CALL lists. Law Enforcement has finite resources, so non-violent crimes have understandably-low priority and thus can never be eradicated. Ask your local telephone Service Provider to explain their CALL-BLOCKING service. Shop for a Service Provider who can offer you the most efficient and affordable CALL-BLOCKING service. Federal law allows you to take your tel.# with you whenever you change Service Providers, so the inconvenience is minimal

Do these people ever give up? They keep calling.... I never answer, and there is never a message. Some days there are multiple calls. I have also received calls from 617-581-1061. They go the exact same way. I guess the Do Not Call list is useless.

I am being called sometimes twice a day telling me they can lower my credit card interest rate. They ask for the 800# on my credit card if they were from my credit card co> they would already know that,BESIDES THAT I'M ON THE NO CALL LIST.
