About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
Hello! I spent my first 10 years on this site as Homeboy Trouble. The name started to not feel entirely appropriate, so I've changed it. Still the same guy, just a little bit older.
Some of my personal favourites from my first 10 years:
Doing the math on pay equity in software.
Making jokes funnier by explaining the hell out of them - Gangnam Style edition, Weird Al Hamilton Polka edition.
--------------
About my name now:
A superilla is a Catalan neologism meaning "superblock". Starting a few years ago, the government of Barcelona started closing parts of the gridded Cerdà plan to through auto traffic, leaving quiet spaces suitable for pedestrians, cyclists and children playing.
Plus, it sounds really cool.
