About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
Always a sucker for word play, I have come up with many noms de guerre with multiple connotations, such as Ape Pagoda, Apocalypse Cow, Barbara Seville and Berlin Mall.
I thought of Enron Hubbard as a play on L. Ron and the Scientologists, the Enron mess, my love of science fiction and the gullibility of the average American for a good con, as typified by the baloney coming out of Washington these days.
Later, I found Robin Williams had done a whole bit riffing on Enron Hubbard and the Church of Profitology. If its good enough for Robin, its good enough for me.
