About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
Its a long and stupid story, but here it is.
I've always been annoyed when people used the word "giggle" online to denote when they've laughed at something you've said. So much so that I started using the word "titter" to counteract it. So powerful was my protest.
One day I needed a new AOL Instant Messenger name, and contemplated the possibilities. I decided to use my "titter" theme, and thought it would be funny to link with the term "grrl" since the last thing you would see a true "riotgrrl" (which I am not, by the by) do is "titter." Although there are tons of people who call themselves grrls who probably would. Grrl is such an overused term, so I had to use it.
So... titter + grrl = tittergrrl.
My gift of irony to my loving fans.
I also play way too many video games when I should be working on my writing. OOPS
Oh! I also host trivia at some bars in DC! You should totaaallly show up!
