OFFICIAL: Militao suffers torn ACL

Real Madrid have published a medical report on Eder Militao, who tore the ACL on his right knee during today's match against Osasuna. Both meniscus on that knee were also affected, per that report.

Militao will undergo surgery to repair his ligament during the next few days.

This is the second torn ACL for Militao, although the previous one happened to his left knee. He came back strong after recovering from that injury, but having two surgically repaired knees could severely affect his speed and his physicality, which is devastating news for Real Madrid. Militao will have to spend at least the next nine months out of the field.
