I was invited to the Middleby Residential Showcase Gallery in Chicago last month (courtesy of my brother Adam, far right) to see their portfolio of ultra-premium kitchen appliances. I gained a lot of insights on design innovations while meeting some talented interior designers. A few thoughts: 1. Induction is gaining marketshare even among professional chefs 2. There are exciting new technologies for under-counter cracked ice. 3.
