    At YTI Career Institute, I was a part of the Computer Technology and Internet Security program that they had offered. I studied Microsoft Operating Systems, Linux Operating Systems, Cisco Networking, and Computer Hardware. I have already utilized many of the skills that I learned here in my personal and professional life.

    Dave and Kelli were looking for a website to advertise their new business, Smoke and Pickles Artisan Butcher Shop, that would provide a place for customers to find the business, read their story, view their menu, sign up for special events and more.

    I worked with Dave and Kelli to determine the look and feel for the website, built prototype, and developed it into a WordPress theme. The website is fully customizable utilizing the WordPress Content Management System.

    Worked with a team at Messiah Lifeways to design and develop the new Pathways Institute Website. This website replaced an older website that was being updated via Adobe Contribute to the new site, built on the Wordpress Content Management System for easy updates.

    The Sync is a replacement for the outdated intranet page that was being used at Messiah Lifeways. I worked with team members to decide what content should be included, what functionality should be given, and what it should look like. I used all of this information to create a fully functioning intranet site.

  • Windows 7 Upgrade

    This project was completed in April, 2014. The goal was to upgrade all computers that were running on the Microsoft Windows XP Operating System to Microsoft Windows 7. In this project, I created base images for our user's needs, applied these images to PCs, and setup and distributed the machines to our users.

  • Apple iPhone Rollout

    This goal of this project was to upgrade existing users from Blackberry Phones to Apple iPhones. I ordered, configured and distributed over 70 Apple iPhones to our users.

  • Gift Shop Point of Sale

    This project's goal was to integrate a point of sale system into Messiah Lifeway's Gift Shop. I worked to set up the point of sale system, assisted users with training and continue supporting them with any trouble that they run into.

  • Wireless Connectivity for CAHLLC

    In this project, I installed and configured wireless access points for Compassion Animal Hospital. We a made business wireless network for the staff to utilize throughout the building, as well as a guest network for patients in the waiting room to use.

  • Network Setup

    -

    I assisted Compassion Animal Hospital, LLC, in starting their business by setting up their network. I built a server based on software specifications that they needed. I configured routers and made remote connections available to offsite receptionists.
