I had the privilege of representing Piano and speaking at today’s Superweek Analytics Summit on "From Data Wranglers to AI Navigators: 20 Years of Analytics Evolution." It felt like a walk down memory lane, and I was lucky to be surrounded by so many seasoned analytics leaders with over 20 years of experience. We laughed about how groundbreaking we once thought it was to track Adobe Flash, and shared stories of the many great companies that have come and gone, or merged into the market giants we see today. We also reflected on the new skills we've had to master to keep up with and stay ahead of these rapid technological shifts. One thing we all agreed on: AI is a powerful tool, but it's just another "means to an end." The real magic lies in our ability to tell stories (and remember "the colours", folks!) and think creatively. Here’s to all the analytics superheroes out there!
