About us
Coriell Institute for Medical Research is an independent, non-profit biomedical research center based in Camden, New Jersey. Founded in 1953, the Institute is dedicated to unlocking the genetic code of human disease. Coriell is a pioneer in genomics, examining the utility of genetic information in clinical care through the Coriell Personalized Medicine Collaborative (CPMC) research study. Coriell is also exploring the promise of induced pluripotent stem cells – stem cells created from skin or blood – and their role in disease research and drug discovery. Additionally, Coriell continues to be recognized as the world’s leading biobank, distributing biological samples, and offering custom research and biobanking services to scientists around the globe. In the club, we're all TFAM. Our #CellLineOfTheWeek is mitochondrial transcription factor A or TFAM! 🧫✨ This cell line and its associated plasmid illuminates mitochondrial nucleoids - clusters of DNA within the mitochondria. Our human induced pluripotent stem cell lines and plasmids are available for just the cost of shipping to support cell biologists and scientific discovery. 📦 Distributed by Coriell Institute for Medical Research and Addgene

It's here… #GivingTuesday! In the next 24 hours, we seek to raise $1,000 to support the Summer Experience for Students. Over four weeks, high school and college students work alongside our world-renowned scientists and researchers in Coriell’s laboratories and biobank. We believe in providing hands-on training for future generations so they can locate their passions and chart successful career paths. Will you help us get off to a great start by making a gift? https://bit.ly/47egrit #givingtuesday #education #science #medicine #training
