Aggression Continuum being actually aggressive, that's a good one. Great farewell for Burton aswell, his vocals are finest since Archetype.

Dino Cazares should rather beat his meat than the dead horse that is Fear Factory.

Probably THE band who got me into metal. I don't listen to them as much as I used to but when I do... SO GOOD!

I feel like the new album is just B-sides or unreleased tracks from their past 2 album prior to this album. It's overtly formulaic and predictable, which makes it a slog and boring. Who knows if Burton C. Bell leaves for good this time. He's left the band twice before in 2002 and 2007. Dude is a big baby, drama whore and stereotypical self-centered singer that gets really upset if he doesn't get his way. He admits he only did FF albums for money. The album sounds like he and Dino are uninterested and bored.

Yes, I agree, the new album sounds like a sequel of Genexus! I can understand that some people expected to hear something new, something extraordinary from them! But this is their style guys. They are not gonna change it.

New album is a blast, can't lie. Despite the fact they're still reusing the same musical formula based on "Demanufacture" since Dino's return, this is quite possibly their strongest record in a long time. Shame it's the last with Burton, but his vocal performance there was amazing; it's easy to understand why Dino decided to keep Burton's vocals after all the BS that happened.

Aggression Continuum is another boring replay of what Cazares has already done.

The new album screams "contractual obligations". I wouldn't be surprised if Burton and Dino had a disagreement over the quality of the material and that's why Burt left. Such a shame for one of my favorite bands.

I'm surprised about the high amount of praise Aggression Continuum gets all over the web. So far I find it extremely bland and unmemorable. I've defended FF from recycling accusations in the past but that's exactly what I feel about the new album. Burt's killing it though. Too bad he won't be around for another (better) album.

Not impressed. Sounds like leftover material from Genexus sometimes. Interchangeable with pretty much anything since Mechanize which the cover art for each album also nicely exemplifies. If this is what Dino wants FF to be from here on out, good luck.

Wow, I'm thoroughly impressed by Aggression Continuum, it's definitely some of their best work. If this will indeed be their swansong, it's a very strong one.

If this does stand to be FF's last album, they went out on a high note. Real solid album.

I've been going up to random people in the street and in stores the last couple days to ask them if they've heard the new song yet. It amazes me how many people haven't.

Aggression Continuum out June 18th. That’s a fitting title for the last track "End of Line" given the circumstances.

Disruptor is standard FF galore about as impressive as the album cover suggests. More of the same. Not good not bad.

Hyped as for Aggression Continuum, but man, knowing that it will be the end of the Fear Factory as we've all came to know and love in terms of the Burt era, it really leaves a bitter taste, and these latest jabs Dino and Burt are throwing at each in the past few days... clearly those two are really done for good this time, they've made that perfectly clear. So when the times comes for Aggression, i won't be taken the experience for granted. Apparently the next vocalist is already decided. Here's to a crushing last hoorah for this era. I've got all the confidence it can and will end on a high note.

So... Dino Cazares wins a lawsuit that makes him the rightful owner of the band's name... then Burton C. Bell leaves FF. WTF?! What a mess.

Sad to see Burton go, we'll see what happens with FF now. However, Burton focuses now full-time on his Ascension of the Watchers project and the new album from them is pretty damn good. While overall it's more goth/industrial (even borderline neofolk at times) some tracks do feel like a much lighter Fear Factory. If someone likes FF's lighter moments (Invisible Wounds, Expiration Date, Enhanced Reality Human Shields etc.) then I think Ascension will definetly fill that vibe.

"Andy Sneap is mixing the record right now, as we speak, and Nuclear Blast wants this record to come out, And that's exactly what's gonna happen. It'll be out next year. As soon as I find out the date, I'm sure everybody will find out too. But we're shooting for March next year." Dino said this on Rob Flynn’s Podcast hours after finding out about Burt’s statement. He also said he hopes he will come back once things settle and that the Door is open for him. I won’t be surprised if the album will still either be called 'Monolith' at this rate. Regardless of this absolute and unfortunate shit show, if this turns out to be their last offering, let’s hope they can go out on a massive high note. Genexus was amazing

So do you think Monolith will be released now as Burton left the band? As far as I know the album is fully recorded already in 2018.
