I'm back! Sorry for my absence this past month; I was working on a research vessel halfway between Hawaii and Mexico and didn't have an internet connection. It's fascinating to catch up on everything that's gone down! The Austin Jackson trade (good), the Chris Denorfia trade (good), the new writers (great)... it's all pretty exciting stuff.

Anyways: this is an off topic thread. It is a place to talk about anything you want - within certain limits. You cannot talk about politics. You also cannot talk about religion. Finally, you should refrain from leaving comments that are only about your own life and offer no starting point for conversation.

But wait. What's that up in the title? LLLJ Edition? Isn't LLLJing the very thing I just told you not to do? Well, yes, yes it is. But lately CapSea's been starting OTs with like meta-prompts - prompts for prompts, like "beer thread" and "SE thread" - and I got inspired. So. In this OT, I ask you all to practice the good kind of LLLJ. The kind of LLLJ that helps us get to know each other, but is still conducive to conversation. Try to come up with prompts inspired by interesting things in your own life, but not so specific or close-ended that they can't be good talking points. Remember, whatever prompt you post should be a good starting point for discussion, but it's OK to tell us a little about yourself, too.
