I understand what they're trying to do a little better now, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me, since you can't "see what the hitter is seeing" with the umpire and catcher in the way. Perhaps a higher shot, from a camera above the catcher and behind the empty batters' box, would be more effective in this regard.
