So unfortunately for me I bought Baseball Mogul 2008 about 10 days ago and got sucked into its vortex. I started with the 2005 Seattle Mariners and have finally won the World Series in 2010. Notabes:

29 year old left fielder Chris Snelling hits .315/.415/.481 in a injury-shortened 115 game season. He owns a .315/.395/.472 career line but has never played more than 133 games in a season.

28 year old Yuniesky Betancourt puts up a .291/.318/.455 line, with his slugging powered by 48 doubles.

46 year old DH Barry Bonds plays in 112 games, batting .258/.445/.459 with 21 home runs, bringing his career total to 831 before retiring after the season.

The bullpen is anchored by JJ Putz, Raphael Soriano, and Mark Lowe, who combine for 275 strikeouts in 231 innings with a 2.99 ERA.

Tim Lincecum notches his first 20 win season, going 21-5 with a 3.13 ERA, striking out 261 in 222 innings while walking 89 and giving up 30 home runs.

However, he finishes third in the AL Cy Young Award voting, with a 31 year old Johan Santana falling in behind a 24 year old Felix Hernandez, who is collecting the award for the 3rd straight year.

Since starting the 2005 season in the rotation, Hernandez is on pace to be perhaps the best pitcher of all time, racking up 124 wins against just 34 losses in his first 6 seasons, with a career 9.86 K/9, 2.03 BB/9, and 0.80 HR/9 for a career ERA of 2.92. His 2010 Cy Young season includes a 26-4 record with a 2.37 ERA and 260 Ks against 37 BBs and 15 HRs in 222 IP.
