Gil Meche sucks. Sucks sucks sucks. And yet, thanks to David Wells' 5.65 FIP, the Mariners have a decent chance at their third win over a pitcher with 200+ career victories in three nights. Manny Ramirez will supposedly be in the lineup, but he's hurting, and this being a road game for Boston means we won't have to worry about any David Ortiz walk-off heroics (although, with the Red Sox being out of the race, he's probably had the last of his "clutch" at bats this year anyway).
