Pompous Assbag (14-5, 3.84) Woods (3-1, 3.88)

I'm going to be honest with you - if Manny Ramirez sits out again tonight, Jake Woods might actually have a chance, as the Manny-less Red Sox batting order has hit just .262/.344/.422 against lefties all year despite playing half its games in a bandbox. Of course, Curt Schilling is Curt Schilling, and he's a pretty special pitcher, but he's still incredibly homer-prone and all of a sudden there're a bunch of talented left-handed hitters in the Mariner lineup capable of doing some damage.

Maybe I'm dreaming, but after beating New York last night and allowing Boston to keep distant hope alive for a playoff push, I'd just love to officially slam the door on their season this weekend.

LET'S GO MARINERS!
