10/22: Open World Series Game 2 Thread

It's grand baseball weather in Detroit right now.  Forecasts say it's supposed to go down to around 35 degrees tonight with a chance of snow.  Freezio (Player A)-o!

First Pitch: 4:30pm PDT

mlb.com's got some articles making a big deal about this being Jeff Weaver's big return to play against the team that drafted him and all.  Sure, he managed to escape Detroit before the epic 2003 season, but on the other hand, he was part of the trade that brought them Jeremy Bonderman, so it can't be all bad, right?

Then again, they also have an article titled "Gambler tries to deal Cards bad hand", which is wrong on so many levels.

The Cardinals put out a lineup without So Taguchi or Chris Duncan in it, with Player A as the DH and Preston Wilson out in left field, therefore the odds are in favor of a Tigers win today.  Unless, of course, Taguchi comes in to pinch-hit a dramatic home run in the late innings, in which case all bets are off.
