The thing that surprised me the most this offseason is the length of contracts doled out so freely to players who either spent significant time on the DL in 2004, or whose health is at least speculated to be completely in question.  I was going to get all gory and go into specific body parts in the poll below, but I decided to be respectful of the players.  I'm curious, though, as to what the feeling is on these players who either had contract extensions, options picked up, or signed a long-term deal (i.e. more than a year or two) in free agency.

I also almost added the now perpetual DL resident, Ken Griffey Jr., but since nothing was done with his contract, I'd like to keep it to guys whose contracts were active this offseason.
