The M's surprised everyone this afternoon and have hired Rafael Chaves to replace Bryan Price and have hired Jeff Pentland to replace Don Baylor.
Chaves, in my opinion, was probably the best guy rumored for this job due to his success in Tacoma and relationship with Felix and should make the most of his opportunity. Pentland's hiring has been rumored for a while now and isn't much of a surprise (see below), but they probably could have done better.
