Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
Best part of movie was Phoebe's jokes.
I liked it, I really did. Egon Spangler's successor in his granddaughter Phoebe was more than worthy.
This version was refreshing and new and old fans I think will enjoy it but their shouldn't be a sequel. They should stop here before they ruin it.
Black Friday (2021)
Bruce Campbell
It's what you've come to expect from a Bruce Campbell film. Full of manic characters laughter, and gore. Also watch this film if you are a fan of drinking games.
Star Trek: Prodigy (2021)
Kids will love it.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the shows animation and story, especially with all the bad reviews that came out even before the show did.
As much as I enjoyed the Original Star Trek animated show as a kid do I think this generation will enjoy this show.
Day of the Dead (2021)
It improves?
Their is a reason for the question mark. While the first episode was so bad the 2nd and first are better?
Maybe I just like zombie movies and programs and got tired of the Walking and I'm giving this show more of a chance than it deserves but at least their are characters I like and really really don't and look forward to seeing them become zombie chow.
What If...?: What If... Ultron Won? (2021)
One off to story arcs
The first 6 episodes were one offs just like in the comics but now they are adding a story arc.
Episode 8 was actually pretty good.
La Brea (2021)
Good story idea
The idea for the story is interesting and has a lot of possibilities for future development but the dialogue and acting is really really bad.
What If...?: What If... Thor Were an Only Child? (2021)
Meh.
It was sort of amusing.
Was that a cliffhanger...?
What If...?: What If... Zombies?! (2021)
S'alright.
Better than 1 and 2 but not as good as 3 and 4.
I read and enjoyed the Marvel Zombieverse comics and this episode doesn't quite live up to the quality of story of the source material but it wasn't bad.
People should still enjoy this episode.
What If...?: What If... Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands? (2021)
Please don't stop!
This was a really good episode. The story was good, the action was exciting, and their was actual character development.
What If...?: What If... The World Lost Its Mightiest Heroes? (2021)
Whodunit!
Better than the first two, it was well written and came to a satisfying conclusion.
But solving the mystery of whodunit reminds me of some 80's films and tv programs where a tidbit of information is dropped and only the writers could have possibly solved it with what they gave the audience.
Overall the top of the heap, which isn't saying much.
What If...?: What If... T'Challa Became a Star-Lord? (2021)
Episode 2. It was all right.
The dialogue was well written and had a few laughs but even with the changed events the way the characters were written wasn't sensible.
But like what was said in an earlier review it was better than Episode 1.
Legends of Tomorrow: This Is Gus (2021)
Episode sucks
We can now blame television for the slacker stoner loser that is Behrad's character.
I probably could have handled the Mick is pregnant that is why he is so emotional storyline but the line his daughter makes about cohabitating with her baby-daddy because marriage is a construct of the patriarchy completely turned me off the show.
Resident Alien (2021)
Canadian Connection
I knew it, you can't have a good show without a Canadian actor in the cast.
Dan Twelvetrees is played by the talented Gary Farmer.
