I just saw this today and I have to ask, what is wrong with everyone at Marvel. The casting for this movie was atrocious, I mean, it really takes you out of the movie when you see a woman who is so short and looks like a child, beating up men all around her with ease. The dei is strong with this one. Also, everyone and his cousin is referred to as Captain America. I've never seen so many different Caps, in all 3 previous movies combined. This definitely should not count as a Captain America movie, as a standalone its just bad, as CA film, its horrible. Don't waste your money, check this out on streaming instead.

The movie was going fairly well until the female bot managed to beat up 3 of the main characters with extreme ease. How is this still acceptable in movies these days. And two of these main characters are precursors to the most famous transformers ever. In any case, there is some good humor here with some funny moments. Helmsworth does a good job with the voice over although nothing will ever come close to Peter Cullen. In this instance though, I'm glad he didn't do the voice as the character isn't nearly good enough or cool enough to have his voice. I wish this had just been a normal Transformer movie and not a prequel of sorts. Worth checking out.

I've played every Bioware game since the 90s including the Dragon Age titles and believe me, this is not Dragon Age. This is a generic medieval animated title just using the license. There is a fair amount of social politics integrated here and the aim of the show isnt to further the lore and characters of the source material. Instead it is poorly written and animated. There are far better animated shows you can watch than this, especially if you are a Bioware or Dragon Age fan. I seriously doubt if the original writers or creators had any part in this save for a mention in the credits which is sad to see.
