Broadway star Fay Lawrence (Mae West) wants out of her contract with producer Tony Ferris (William Gaxton). She can do it if the show does badly. A society foundation shuts them down and she jumps to rival Forrest Stanton. Tony is willing to do anything to get her back including using the same foundation and its hapless vice president Hubert Bainbridge (Victor Moore) who wants to help his niece's performing ambitions.
This is Mae West's last theatrical release before making a semi-return some three decades later. She delivers her style of comedy with less sexuality. There is some music. The songs may be appealing to some. For most of this, the lead character is actually Ferris. He's not that compelling or appealing with all his scheming. If this was written by Mae West, she would probably be the lead from the start. She does take over in the last act and that's a good section. If only the movie has more of those.

It is 1899 North Carolina. Mandie Shaw (Lexi Johnson) is living with her daddy and his new family. She is left on her own when her daddy accidentally dies and her hateful stepmother sends her away to another family. She insists that her Cherokee friend to take her away and the Indian is assumed to have kidnapped her. The Indians leave her with her Uncle John, but apparently he's been lost. She is taken in by Jason Bond (Dean Jones), but Uncle John's will has gone missing. Suddenly, John Shaw's supposed relations start showing up to claim a portion of the inheritance. Mandie and her friend Polly Cornwallis find the secret tunnel.
Apparently, this is a book series. The movie is rather disjointed like one thing after another. Maybe they jumbled different books together or maybe they are simply not good filmmakers. I do find these characters interesting and the story does intrigue me enough to keep going all the way to the end. It is still not good.

Awkward high school student Adam Harrison is often bullied. He has unusual growth spurts especially in his hair. He discovers a stash of letters from his father whom he had assumed to be dead. He tracks down his father who looks like Bigfoot. It turns out that the father has been hiding from hair-obsessed Wallace Eastman who owns HairCo. In addition to hair growth, Adam discovers that he gained animal speech and fast running as other Bigfoot skills.
I'm not that excited about this animated movie. The hair obsessed story is a bit silly. I would have prefer that Adam stayed at school and having to deal with the repercussion of his new self with all the other kids. He could be Teen Wolf, the movie. Instead, this all feels a little silly and that's fine for kids.
