Overall I didn't really like it to be honest. Sure I dislike musicals in general, but the fact that this was a musical wasn't the main issue. The main issue is that this movie has no plot. It feels like a 15 minute long epilogue cut from Joker 1 and extended to be a full on movie. And the fact that they decided to slap a musical on top of no plot just makes it so much more worse.
Joaquin Phoenix carries this movie on his shoulders singlehandedly. Nobody else is memorable or relevant. Lady Gaga is such a miss, I am not sure if the script she was working with was bad or she didn't do the script justice. I suspect it's a mix of both. Her role in the movie was so irrelevant and underwhelming. The entire movie was underwhelming.
The cinematography was amazing, as previously stated Joaquin was amazing. Everything else ranges from terrible to meh.

Honestly if Tomb Raider wasn't in the title I would hardly ever realize this is Tomb Raider related.
There was maybe one episode where "Lara" didn't cry. There were zero episodes where she did something on her own, she always needed help from someone else.
The storyline was as generic as it can get. Serviceable, but generic.
The environments were very nice, but I generally disliked how the characters looked like. They all felt too cartoony for me and out of place with the environments.
This show also wouldn't exist if she used her guns from the beginning instead of the last 10 minutes of the last episode.
All in all, it's not terrible, but it's nothing to write home about either.

This movie does not do anything new or interesting. It's exactly the same as every other movie that deals with this topic. As the title says, a horror movie on autopilot.
You can fall asleep halfway into the movie, wake up near the end and I am sure you could guess exactly what happened during the parts that you missed.
This movie also only relies on jumpscares with loud sounds for horror, nothing else. And it's even worse cause the audio mixing is trash. The dialogues and ambient sounds are so low, but the jumpscares can be heard in another city from my room when they happen.
In the end I just decided to volume down the movie to a point where I can barely hear them and just read the subtitles so that my speakers don't blow up from the plethora of jumpscares that are all over this movie. To make it even worse, the jumpscares are all so predictable and ineffective.
The characters in this movie are also dumb as hell just so that the plot can happen. Not a single intelligent person was detected during the entire runtime.
