I wanted so badly to love this movie especially because it featured PC, AWW & TH - I have enjoyed them in countless Christmas movies over the years. Unfortunately for me, this movie fell flat... really flat. I found myself tuning out quite frequently but I wanted to hold on until the end. I'm glad I recorded it, if I hadn't, I probably would've walked away. I didn't care for the story line in the least, I'm so sorry PC & KS, I know the both of you wrote the script which is why I kept hesitating to leave a lackluster review, I hope you continue to write and I look forward to seeing your next project!

I really liked this movie and even though I could see exactly how it would end, I enjoyed the road getting there. The two main leads are definitely both seasoned actors and I thought their chemistry sparkled. The plot "save the farm" is a bit overdone but it is a Christmas flick after all.... I do not have an Instagram account so I don't follow the actors in their private lives but I instantly knew JW either just had a baby or was pregnant during filming, turns out she had her first child in 2020 and I think she was pregnant in this movie, congratulations! I'm glad CM & JW among others switched networks, I look forward to seeing them!

I will keep my review short and sweet, I enjoyed this Christmas movie probably the most I've enjoyed any other over the last 10 years!! Every once in a while Hallmark throws in an unsuspecting gem. I had no expectations for this movie as I do any other because in my humble opinion, Hallmark has become so drab and formulaic but to my surprise, The Royal Nanny proved to be fun, charming, just a little suspenseful and downright likable! I found I wasn't rolling my eyes, yawning or talking to myself out loud saying "oh please, give me a break" To all involved in this adorable movie I say, well done and thank you!
