Quintessentially 80s, and it introduced breakdancing to the wider public, created a fashion trend, and it has a great soundtrack ... but unless you're a big fan or want to investigate the filming locations in Pittsburgh, just fast-forward through to the dancing scenes because the story is paper-thin and silly.
The uncredited stunt double for Jennifer Beals, Marine Jahan, also did the bike riding, according to the New York Times.

Absolutely threadbare story about an wannabe Iranian actor/writer visiting Cannes 2013. Intercut with some moments from Scorsese films and various moments at the festival.
There are some funny moments with culture clashes but most of it is just pure embarrassment for everyone involved, and the director didn't quite know how to finish it off properly.

This movie is the best Bollywood movie I've seen ever I think, it has everything, comedy (Mr Q Q Qureishi!), romance, suspense, fantastic dance sequences (bale bale on a Sunday sundae), absolutely unforgettable dramatic entrances by Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai (can still remember the audience reaction!), beautiful actors and actresses and chemistry, and stunning scenery in both the Indian countryside and cities. The production values are so slick. It leaves all the Hollywood movies coming out lately for dead. I saw it on a Friday night in the city and I was the only non-Indian person there but the cinema was packed. It wasn't reviewed in the local paper but films this great can't stay a "secret" for long. I immediately texted my parents and told them to go see it. Must-see, especially if you're tired of American films, which are so prevalent here in Oz.
