Watching this movie as an adult, I realize that I could not have been more wrong. This film is a must see for all children, not only for the beautiful story of true love, but for the catchy songs, fun humor, and tear jerking moments. As an adult watching this film, I realize that this movie is not just a love story. In fact, the film isn't really about that. This film is about the father-daughter relationship between Ariel and King Triton.
When Ariel falls in love with a human, Triton becomes angry and destroys her things because he is afraid of her being hurt. Ariel does not realize this, so she goes to the sea witch Ursula and exchanges her voice to be able to walk on land and be with her prince. The love story in this film, sweet as it may be, is only a bonus to this film. The story is really about Ariel and Triton, and Triton's love for his daughter, so proved when he sacrifices himself and control over the ocean to protect her.

As a pastor, the film is 100% Biblically correct and spot on with the Book of Revelation.
Pros:
1) Loved how the film portrays events after the rapture - these are very serious times at the end of man. 2) Loved the acting - both the interviewer and antichrist were exceptional actors 3) Loved the use of the Bible verses throughout the movie - very rare - but I counted maybe over 40-60 verses 4) Gloves off! Loved how the film had a hard-core message (this is why so many people have been awed by this film). It's all about JESUS in the end. 5) Loved how the film correctly applies Scripture about the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation
Cons:
1) Maybe too short! It's 90 minutes but it went so fast! :)
Overall, one of the best films I've ever seen in the past 30 years. You will be super-blessed watching "Interview". God bless everyone on this board, including the attackers who never did anything for the Great Commission except complain - you have a lot of them in my church.

Usually when a film gets made about world issues, the resulting movie tends to be overtly sensational and at best remotely connected to what really happened.
Instead what we have is a well argued thesis on the possibly solving the world's problems. Amazing concept. Brilliant and courageous all the way. While there are some very intense scenes, the director takes a somewhat unexpected approach on the subject. All of the world's problems take place pretty early on in the movie, with the bulk of the story centering on the geniuses and their characters - wonderful storytelling.
Some people may find themselves disappointed by this epic if they go in expecting the normal Hollywood fare. In a perfect society, this would have won the Oscar, not another Eastwood or Spielberg picture
