I really wanted to like this with two actors having such good pedigree. Gregor Fisher and Greg McHugh (Rab C Nesbitt and Gary Tank Commander) but their past triumphs probably gave me high expectations that this would be funny.
Whenever I see a description now that says gentle or warm hearted comedy I expect to be disappointed and this lives up (or down) to my expectations.
I've watched two episodes and that's enough. If those have not raised a smile I don't think any masochistic additional viewing will help.
Pity.
It's alright going for pathos but don't call it a comedy if it doesn't raise a laugh.

Why do program makers treat us like idiots? It was an interesting premise and with some thought could have worked but the plot had more holes than Swiss cheese.
If the central character could perform telekinetic feats why couldn't she pick up a pen and paper? I find this happening more and more nowadays and I know it's not that I'm becoming more intelligent so producing this drivel seems to be about following some kind of formula by aspiring playwrights.
Could it be that we are meant to suspend all logical thought and immerse ourselves in something that would have a child asking "Why doesn't she do this etc. Etc. Etc.?" Vacuous nonsense.

I don't know if this series will influence the behaviours of drug and booze addled delinquents but such a serious subject was worth visiting. It could easily have been squeezed into 10 episodes and also was pretty flawed and cliché ridden all the way through with some particularly bad acting. Having said that there were also believable performances from various actors and although I wouldn't revisit the series I did watch it till the end to watch the baddies get their comeuppance.
I don't suppose it's done Alicante and Villajoyosa any harm either. I was actually tempted to pay a visit to the area after watching the series.
