Terrible show, so rehearsed and boring. Pretty sure the cast and crew are rating this highly as the episode ratings do not go with the overall show reviews from users. This is filmed in America with Americans guests of British guests who live in America. They rehearse the show that everyone comes off contrived. It's actually appalling to watch and I hope it never returns to tv screens. How the BBC have allowed this a prime time slot is beyond me. I sincerely hope the tv licence fee doesn't cover this. Feel free to keep the next episodes for iPlayer or whatever and put on eastenders instead. Terrible show.
I struggled through the first episode which featured 4 people I didn't have to Google. The rounds were fine but everyone had rehearsed or perhaps even lip synced during the game. It was too long and not entertaining enough to fill an hour slot.
The second episode featured 2 people who were famous in Britain, someone who had to somewhat successful songs 8 years ago and someone from NSync not named Justin Timberlake. It was then it dawned on me that the show is filmed in LA, replaced Jimmy Fallon for a British host and hired z list American celebrities we are supposed to be wowed by.
This would have been a better show if it featured genuinely famous people who a British audience would know and was filmed in the U. K.. For reference, see RuPaul's celebrity lingo. It also needs elements of improv and spontaneity opposed to being a fully rehearsed show. Mo Gilligan does his best but he's not really a presenter and I'd be happy for this show to not return.

If you take You and Promising Young Woman and hire a Riverdale writer then you get this episode of American Horror Stories. The writing was terrible and the acting was non-existent. They tried to make an interesting twist but it did not pay off. In fact, I'd be surprised if anyone even cared when the real killer is revealed. AHS' has take a nosedive since episode 1 and Nico Greetham cannot catch a break by starting in the two worst episodes of this show. Nice to see him play the same part as "hot guy who dies". Hopefully the rest of the season improves or we'll have a typical Ryan Murphy production, start great and end badly.
