I was a kid, maybe 10, when the first twister came out on vhs. Man, what a movie. Between the tornadoes and the shining scene, as a kid, it scares ya. But this movie has none of those elements. The first 30 minutes or so are not bad. I liked the YouTube channel and the tornado wrangler character. 100% believable and cool. I liked Kate's early college nerd team trying to help people and de-seed tornadoes. What I didn't like and when it went downhill was the introduction of storm par. So their whole stick was to find areas destroyed by storms and mean country cowboy land developer comes in and swoops it up for pennies? Not real. Also, where did the Dorothy model come from? Why did they randomly have a leftover from the first? Did I miss something?
Ona different note, I think it's HILLARIOUS how we can openly talk about seeding tornadoes (in a movie) with chemicals to weaken them and that's real but if we talk about actual real life science experiments intensifying weather by our government (operation popeye, project stormfury, HAARP etc...) we are dumb conspiracy theorist Jan 6ers. Funny. Honestly, now I'm thinking about it, This entire movie was to make you accept weather modification as a good thing and necessary even though it's been going on since Vietnam... I guess let's chomp on our popcorn and just keep on keeping on....

I'm going to try and not be too conspiracy theory here but it's tough. I've watched this movie and even owned it back in the early 2010s as an hs/college kid. I thought it was a good movie then but didn't think about or grasp the futuristic possibility it shows. Now, as a grown man with a family, this future is terrifying.
My wife and I have had infertility/loss issues and we know many others that have experienced the same. Luckily we were able to have a few kids. Still, this issue is huge and becoming even more common. Between chemicals in food, vaccines, hygiene products, and even water, we are increasingly seeing a rise in pregnancy loss and infertility. And it seems most don't care. They blame it on IDK anymore but it's a combo of the things I described. Lab and artificial created items that are in everyone of the things I mentioned above are increasing the infertility/loss rate. And I'm not even talking about the Covid shot. Think about it. This could very well be the future in the next 15-20 years if we keep going down this path...

Past reviews rejected I guess for being too critical on final scenes. Whatever thin skinned people. So I've watched the first 3 and now 4 episodes. And I'm not impressed. They are combining all the classic horror characters in 1 show. Ok. But where's the scare? Besides the first episode intro and the weird seanse (no idea how to spell it), it's been lacking. We get random character building but yeah it's just unnecessary nude/sex. 1 thing I do like is the theatre scene with the monster running the behind scenes and how all that worked back then (the theatre mechanics) cause that was neat. Otherwise nah. I see the following episodes get higher ratings so maybe it stops the weak and unnecessary stuff and starts a good solid show.
