This movie is about what? A 55 year old cornball (Wayne) who has a lovely 30 yr old woman head over heels hot for him ( why? WHY?) .. then you have Wayne and Marvin exchanging massive punches to the face in a drunken brawl, each punch landing hard with no apparent effect because neither of these humans apparently will bleed or anything like that. Then you have Cesar Romero as a ... a .. what is he? He just speaks incoherently and I guess he's the governor of the island or something? And a Tahitian guy dotes on his every word? Then we have a crowd of Tahitian women who go around singing greetings to people like they are in a choir with an invisible instrumental background Tahitian rhythm band? Do you get it now? This movie STINKS !!
Very good movie.. kept me riveted until the end. Well paced, good acting. The actress who played Emma looked like Kristen Wiig from SNL, so that kind of detracted from the intensity, since Wiig is a funny comedian. The whole concept seemed plausible, considering the degree of high tech these days. The Uber driver, the air B & B... these are very popular these days. There wasn't a moment in this film that wasn't riveting, and it kept me on the edge of my seat. None if it was too over the top, and it all seemed quite plausible. I would recommend this film, as it delivered... scary, and at times shocking.
Seinfeld is way up there on the upper echelon of sitcoms. Very few shows make that grade. The show revolves around Jerry, Elaine, Kramer, and George. These friends are inseparable but, unlike the show, Friends, the show is intelligent and funny. Jerry, despite being a rather funny looking and unattractive guy, is somehow a chick magnet, and although in his forties, scores all the time with gorgeous chicks in their twenties. He has a nice personality, but that only goes so far. So... it's pretty implausible. Kramer and George are downright unpalatable to women, so they make Jerry look like a stud by comparison. So the show is mostly about guys in their forties interacting with girls in their twenties... which is strange, but it works. There are always male characters on the show who appear in one or more episodes that display bizarre personality traits which are hilarious. Newman is a semi regular on the show, as a guy that Jerry cannot stand.
