The film starts out very intriguing with quirky moments between Brad Pitt & Julia Robert's characters. They both did a wonderful job with acting as always.
All other supporting roles were interesting and you never think they're out of place. Every side character has a vital role or some comedy element to them. The middle and ending of the film gets a bit more boring and slow although still filled with the odd action scene and funny moment.
The love story is where this kinda falls off for me. There wasn't very good chemistry, the duo would bicker constantly but it wasn't evened out by a show of good memories or connection. Rather Their undying will to eachother which leaves some romance to be desired.
On the comedy aspect however this film nailed it. I was surprised at how every scene played out and what hilarious mess Brad Pitts character was tangled in. It did have a decent plot twist midway through but the ending was very much expected.
Overall I really liked the comedy this had to offer, the acting was brilliant and the characters were quirky much like the scenes. Don't expect much romance but if you want some light hearted fun, you won't be too disappointed.
6.5/10 for me, it was above average.

Wow was I not expecting this to be good but it sure did prove me wrong.
This has phenomenal special affects, very creepy vibe with great tense music and a unique story that is a fresh relief with how over saturated horror is. The young adults in the film are also not cliche idiots thank goodness!.
There is not much shots of the area but you feel like you know the town. They don't get too heavily into character development but you feel like you know and really like the dad and son. The directing is so superb it makes you feel interested the whole time and care about the people you're watching. This is a very sad movie just be warned.
The horror is quite scary and still holds up, pumpkinhead looks very creepy and realistic. The use of fog, brutal gore and flickering lights/red scenes, with a wicked soundtrack makes this very spine chilling.
The only thing I really didn't like was the dad's family member gets hurt, but it doesn't seem like much. Then he is lying on the ground blinking and looking bored the whole time and eventually speaks one word an hour later and dies? That's just bad acting.
Other than this it was almost flawless in an acting, story and horror sense.
Overall I would highly reccomend you watch this! But just remember "keep away from pumpkinhead unless you're tired of living".

Firstly the cast was amazing, Val Kilmer as Doc was the star of the show and extremely bad ass.
The acting is top notch and all the characters are well developed and lovable. The only part I didnt like was Kurt Russels reaction at someone dying, that was kind of weird and bad. He just screams and puts his hands up to everyone and walks around dramatically. But besides that, overall very decent acting.
The story and directing is where this fails for me. The movie is 30 mins too long. You go from a group of guys to fighting almost 50 or more out of nowhere. There is too many "villains". They also don't show who did the killing so you don't really get a feeling of hatred to one particular person. They also let one particular guy live in 3 separate occasions which was infuriating. The love interest/loss was not invested enough in Wyatts character, its just like oh yeah the other one just looks at me funny and doesn't help so I'm gonna leave her. Things and scenes just don't flow nicely. The directing just really sucked to be honest which is a shame.
Overall it had great relationship building between friends. The characters are all well developed and unique which brings you joy and sadness to see how they ending pans out. The characters are the best part, it has a wholesome and nice story but the editing, film length and flow between scenes is terrible. If it didn't have such a good cast this would not be rated so high I guarantee you that.
Overall If your a big fan of any of these actors or are into westerns than you will love this. This is not for everyone but I think most will like it. A great film with a great cast but sadly sub par directing and bizzare scenes that dont blend well at times. A 6.4/10 for me.
