As I watched the last scene between Bill and Kate I could not help but be reminded of the last few scenes in Gone with the Wind. Because, if you recall, when Scarlett left Ashley's house she ran through the fog looking for calling for Rhett. Fortunately, for Kate, things didn't wind up the same way as they did with Scarlett! Betty Davis and Glenn Ford did an excellent job in portraying the role their roles. I've hardly ever seen Betty Davis look better and it really is in stark contrast to the way that she looked many years later in dead ringer. Here, she has no intent to harm her sister it is merely the result of an unfortunate accident!
